My best friend got me into the scene way back in 93', was purely a hip hop head until he showed me the way.....being that i was 13 back then, my weekly pocket money went on any of the tunes that were being released....there were so many back then, so i had choose wisely. That same year i learnt how to mix round at a friends of mine....must have annoyed him as i did hassle him as i didn't have any decks at that point in my life.
Basically bought tunes from then up until about 2000 when dnb had taken a turn for the worse in my opinion and I had all but given up on the scene that i loved.
This all changed in december 2007 when i got dragged to a do in the east end and Fabio was playing there....he tore the place down....the tunes he was dropping made me realise that the scene had gone full circle and people were churning out qualitly tunes again.
